Privacy Policy

Effective and Last Updated 2-4-2021

This website https://psychclientaccelerator.com/ is owned and operated by HONE Inc, the creator of Psych Client Accelerator Program. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our visitors while they interact with the content and services on this site (the “Site”). As a company comprised of dedicated professionals, we understand, as people, the important issues regarding online privacy, protection of personal information, and striving for the most secure networks and electronic communication systems possible.

We want to protect your privacy. In order to operate, our Site and business operations may gather information about you. These terms explain how this may happen, what we will do with any potentially personal information and how you can get in contact should you have any concerns.

This Privacy Policy applies to the Site only. It does not apply to any other Websites to which we may link, if any. Because we gather certain types of information about our users, we want you to understand what information we collect about you, how we collect it, how that information is used, and how you can control our disclosure of it. You agree that your use of the Site signifies your assent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Site.

1) Information Collected

We collect two types of information from you: i) information that you voluntarily provide to us (e.g. through a voluntary registration process, sign-ups or emails); and ii) information that is derived through automated tracking mechanisms.

Voluntary Registration Information

In order to fully access any customer account systems, blogs or forums (if our site hosts them at any given time), you must first complete the registration process, during which we will collect personal information about you. The information may include your name, address, email address, phone number, or other identifying information. We do not collect personally identifiable information about you except when you specifically provide such information to us on a voluntary basis.

By registering with us, you consent to the use and method of disclosure as described in this Privacy Policy.

Voluntary Information for Services and Features

We also collect personally identifiable information when you choose to use certain other features of the Site, including: i) making electronic payments (as and if available), ii) consenting to receive email or text messages, iii) participating in any online promotions we may provide (if any), iv) commenting on articles, and other submissions on or through the Site. When you choose to use these additional features, we require you to provide your “Contact Information” in addition to other personal information that may be required to complete a transaction such as your phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and credit card information. Occasionally, we may also request information such as your account preferences and demographics which will help us better serve you and our other users in the future.

Cookies and Web Beacons

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. HONE Inc. and the Site may use cookies to store visitor’s preferences and to record session information. This could include only showing you a popup once during your visit, or the ability to login to some of our features. We do not and will not use cookies to collect private information from any user that such user did not intentionally submit to us.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies, including whether or not to accept them and how to remove them. If a user’s system is idle for a defined time, the cookie will expire, forcing the user to sign in again to continue their session. This prevents unauthorized access to the user’s information while they are away from their computer.

You may set most browsers to notify you if you receive a cookie, or you may choose to block cookies with your browser, but please note that if you choose to erase or block your cookies, you will need to re-enter your original user ID and password to gain access to certain parts of the Site, if any, that are controlled or accessible only by proper log-in procedures (such as when making an online order, checking a status or other similar activities, if and when such systems are offered, if ever).

We may also use third party advertisements on the Site. Some of these advertisers may use technology such as cookies and web beacons when they advertise on our site, which will also send these advertisers (such as Google through the Google AdSense program) information including IP address, ISP, the browser used to visit our site, or if the user has Flash installed. This is used, in some cases, for geo-targeting purposes (showing ads based on the user’s geographic location) or showing certain ads on specific sites visited (such as showing cooking ads to someone who frequents cooking sites).

DoubleClick DART cookies

We also may use DART cookies to serve ads through Google’s DoubleClick. A cookie is placed on your computer when you are browsing the web and when you visit a site using DoubleClick advertising (including some Google AdSense advertisements), this cookie is used to serve ads specific to you and your interests (”interest based targeting”).
The ads served are based on your previous browsing history (For example, if you have been viewing sites about CRM, you may see CRM provider advertisements when viewing a non-related site, such as a sports site). DART uses “non Personally Identifiable Information”. It does NOT track personal information such as name, email, physical address, telephone, social security, bank account or credit card numbers.

Google Analytics

Here are Google Analytics’ currently available opt-outs for the web.

How you can control advertising cookies

You can use Ads Settings to manage the Google ads you see and opt out of Ads Personalization. Even if you opt out of Ads Personalization, you may still see ads based on factors such as your general location derived from your IP address, your browser type, and your search terms.

You can also manage many companies’ cookies used for online advertising via the consumer choice tools created under self-regulation programs in many countries, such as the US-based aboutads.info choices page or the EU-based Your Online Choices.

Finally, you can manage cookies in your web browser.

You can choose to disable or selectively turn off cookies in your browser settings, or by changing the preferences in programs such as Norton Internet Security. However, this can affect how you are able to interact with our site as well as other websites. This could include the inability to login to services or programs, like forums and accounts.

Deleting cookies does not mean you are permanently opted out of any advertising program. Unless you have settings that disallow cookies, the next time you visit a site running the advertisements, a new cookie will be added.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE OR OTHER INFORMATION YOU CHOOSE TO SUBMIT IN PUBLIC AREAS, BLOGS COMMENTS OR ANY OTHER PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE AREA OF THE SITE, IF AND AS ANY ARE OFFERED BY HONE INC., AT ANY POINT IN THE PAST, PRESENT OR FUTURE.
